security solutions, today announced the launch of Retract-A-Spike, a removable, low-profile
vehicle access deterrent designed to help fleet facilities protect vehicles from unauthorized
removal while maintaining normal day-to-day operations.
Developed with the unique needs of fleet and vehicle-storage environments in mind, Retract-A-
Spike provides facilities with a practical way to increase vehicle security when needed—without permanently restricting access or disrupting daily operations.
The system is designed for applications including rental car facilities, fleet yards, vehicle
storage compounds, logistics centers, and service facilities. Retract-A-Spike can be quickly
deployed when additional security is required and concealed when it is not, allowing facilities to
adapt their vehicle access control based on operational needs.
The 15-foot standard Spike Lane is designed to span a vehicle access point, helping prevent
vehicles from bypassing the security system. Its low-profile design allows it to remain
unobtrusive when not in use, while its removable construction provides flexibility for facilities
that may not need a permanent vehicle barrier.
Retract-A-Spike requires no power, making it a straightforward option for locations where
electrical infrastructure is unavailable or where a manually deployed security solution is
preferred.
